Well, now what?

So much build up to Halloween with all of it’s costumes and candy. And now it’s passed. Just when I begin to feel a little listless, I look at my schedule and realize that Thanksgiving Day is rapidly approaching like a truck out of control.

Time for cornbread stuffing. Time for mashed potatoes. Time for Pumpkin and Pecan Pie!
So don’t forget to order you pies for delivery.

It’s a time of year for traditions, old and new, when we gather with friends and family, or just take a minute to be thankful for a few hours away from our daily stresses. So much of this story is woven into the foods we eat to commemorate this occasion, full of history and emotion. What are some of the foods you hold most dear on Thanksgiving? What absolutely must be on the table this month? I’d love to hear your holiday stories.
